Recommended: Kroger Closing Huntsville Store, Offers Workers Transfers

The Kroger store at 2009 Drake Avenue in Huntsville (shown in this file photo) will close on July 13, 2019, the company has announced. All 100 workers have been offered jobs at other Kroger stores, and the closure still leaves two Kroger stores within 4 miles of the closing store, the company said.

Kroger said Friday it is closing a Huntsville grocery store after three years of losses totaling $3 million. All 100 employees will be offered jobs at other Kroger stores, the company said.
