The donation will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Susan Lang Pay-It-Forward Patient Travel Assistance Program in Southern California, which helps blood cancer patients who cannot afford travel expenses to doctor appointments or treatment centers.
Funds for this donation were raised during an in-store fundraising campaign where customers and employees purchased $1 and $5 mobiles to contribute towards the program, bringing total fundraising dollars to $4.5 million since 2008.
