MessageWrap Named To Inc. 5000 List For Its Fast Growth

MessageWrap

MessageWrapGrand Rapids, Michigan-based MessageWrap has been named to the 2019 Inc. 5000 list as the 904th fastest growing company in the U.S. It works with retailers and CPGs nationwide.

MessageWrap, which transforms the black conveyor belts at checkout into an antimicrobial surface printed with full-color moving graphics, credits this growth to “creating an in-store experience that is distinctly powerful to shoppers everywhere.”

Phil Lempert, chairman of the International Clean & Green Pledge Society, says, “There is nothing more effective than delivering a positive message to shoppers while they are in-store. And there is no location more effective than at the checkout. Shoppers are bored and waiting for the cashier. Instead of picking up a tabloid to amuse themselves, MessageWrap offers the retailer and CPG brands the opportunity to deliver a targeted message that can reinforce how their values align with those of the shopper. The antimicrobial benefit of MessageWrap is a plus to ensure that the shopper’s foods will be as safe as possible and not be at risk of cross-contamination.”

Retailers using MessageWrap include Giant Eagle, Ahold Delhaize, Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Schnucks, Coborn’s, Redner’s and Walmart.

“Analytics firms like Inmar’s Willard Bishop and the University of Texas Richards School of Advertising have found the in-store experience MessageWrap provides average costs $7 MessageWrapfor every 1,000 shoppers who go through it,” says Nathan Vanderploeg, MessageWrap’s CEO. “That’s less than a penny per shopper for what has resulted in a 10X to 100X return on marketing spend for major campaigns”.

Zachariah Booker, MessageWrap’s VP of client services, says “Awareness and recall of the experience and the specific message on MessageWrap have been off-the-charts, usually around 70 percent recall among shoppers. That’s many times higher than the recall rates on other in-store signage, which is usually 10 percent or less. Combined with the guarantee we provide on MessageWrap’s performance, more and more marketers are coming to us to help advance their biggest initiatives.”
