Debut Of Big Slice From Rustic Crust Includes Social Media Promo

Rustic Crust, maker of  all-natural ready-made pizza crusts, has a new angle when it comes to pizza geometrics. Its new Big Slice—available exclusively at 2,400 Walmarts nationwide—is literally a giant pizza slice, more than 15 inches long and triangular.

Made with all-natural premium ingredients—no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives—the Big Slice is handcrafted and wood-fired. It joins the company’s existing product line that include ready-made crusts, including cauliflower, whole-grain and organic varieties, and Rustic Crust 100 percent all-natural pizza sauce.

To celebrate the Big Slice launch, Rustic Crust is focusing on a social media promotion that asks pizza lovers how they would create their own Big Slice. By posting a photo of their inventive Big Slice creation on Facebook or Instagram, one person can win a Nintendo Switch, while other prizes include Walmart gift cards and Big Slice coupons.

“The goal of the Big Slice was to create something fun that resonated with a younger audience than our typical Rustic Crust consumer,” said Brad Sterl, CEO of Rustic Crust in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. “Sticking to our brand pillars—the best ingredients, handcrafted dough and traditional baking methods—the Big Slice brings interactive family fun back to pizza night, without compromising health and nutrition.”

The Big Slice social media campaign ends at midnight EST on Friday, Oct. 11.
