Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Mighty Spark, an independent company that donates a meal with each purchase consumers make of its all-natural poultry, is expanding its assortment and presence at retailers nationwide with the launch of patties and ground blends at select Walmart stores, and chicken snack sticks at 2,500 CVS locations.

CVS recently launched Mighty Spark’s low-calorie chicken snack sticks in 2,500 stores in their healthy eating “Trend Zone” to appeal to a growing number of consumers seeking healthier snacks, as well as products that give back.
Ideal for those on keto or paleo diets or anyone looking for zero to little sugar for an on-the-go snack, Mighty Spark’s chicken snack sticks range from 45-60 calories with 5 to 6g of protein per 1-oz. stick.

With expanded distribution at retailers comes a bigger impact on those in need through the company’s meal donations. For every purchase of Mighty Spark, the company donates a meal to someone in need. In the last four months, the company has donated more than 1 million meals, bringing their total meal donation total to 4.5 million, which is the equivalent of one meal donated every 13 seconds.
