Cape Cod Potato Chips released its second annual limited-edition Pink Himalayan Salt & Red Wine Vinegar Potato Chips ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. In keeping with its heritage, the Hyannis, Massachusetts-based brand is partnering with the Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute—a New England-based comprehensive cancer treatment and research facility—to donate 5 percent of the proceeds, 12 cents of every purchase, from this limited-edition flavor to benefit cancer research.
The limited-batch flavor features red wine vinegar and pink Himalayan salt. As with all Cape Cod Potato Chips, the Pink Himalayan Salt & Red Wine Vinegar potato chips are cooked in kettles for the distinct Cape Cod crunch and golden hue.
“We are proud to further support our New England community by continuing to donate to the world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute,” says Aaron Torchio, director of marketing for Cape Cod. “This limited-edition offering not only tastes great, but it also gives our fans a great way to become involved in this important cause.”
The Pink Himalayan Salt & Red Wine Vinegar chips are available for MSRP $3.79 and are being sold at national retailers including Walmart, Kroger, Stop & Shop and more.
