Handheld Carbon Dioxide, Temperature and Relative Humidity Meter

QA Supplies will be at the Southeast Regional Fruit & Vegetable Conference, coming up Jan. 9-12 in Savannah, Georgia, and at the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE), to be held in Atlanta Jan. 28-30.

Norfolk, Virginia-based company QA Supplies offers equipment with instrumentation for air and gas analysis, water quality measurement, temperature, data logging, harvesting and more. It supplies post-harvest equipment for professionals who monitor, control or evaluate environmental conditions to assure the quality of fresh produce and other perishables.

For those who need instrumentation for gas analysis, QA offers the Handheld Carbon Dioxide, Temperature and Relative Humidity Meter. Intended for checking indoor carbon dioxide levels for personal safety and to help maintain product quality, this meter has a large, back-lit LCD screen that’s easy to read in dimly lit environments, which the company says makes it ideal for checking CO2 and temperature in ripening or cold storage rooms.

The compact RTR-501 Logger provides real-time monitoring of temperature when used with any of the data collectors in the RTR-500 series. Additionally, it is water resistant and dustproof, which QA supplies says makes it ideal for use in harsh environments such as frozen or refrigerated storage. It also offers temperature monitoring while products are in transit. To get real-time monitoring of goods during transport, QA suggests using it with the RTR-500GSM base station.
