Baltimore, Maryland-based Phillips Foods has introduced its Pasteurized Proteins line featuring three refrigerated options: Yellowfin Tuna, Gourmet Baby Clams and Seafood Mix. Fully cooked and ready to eat, Pasteurized Proteins can be eaten out of the container or added to recipes without prep work.

The line will be available this spring in grocery stores with a price point of $7.99 for an 8-oz. tub and a 15-month shelf life. It is a good source of protein, low carb, Whole30/keto compliant and paleo friendly. Each product is sustainably sourced and contains only seafood, water, salt and clam juice. No artificial preservatives, colorings, flavorings or sweeteners are added.

The yellowfin tuna is cut by hand into chunks that can be used for a wide range of recipes. It is hand packed in water and salt, preserving the texture and flavor of fresh Yellowfin tuna and delivering 19g of protein per serving. It is rated a Best Choice by Seafood Watch and Ocean Wise recommended, Pole & Line Caught and Dolphin Safe.

The company sources 100 percent wild harvested Paratapes spp. sea clams, also known as baby or Venus clams, from southeast Asia. The Gourmet Baby Clams are freshly hand-shucked and pasteurized under strict quality control standards.

The Seafood Mix features a flavorful combination of shrimp, squid, octopus, clams and crab claw fingers in one container.

Family-owned Phillips Foods is an importer and distributor of crab meat in the U.S. It was founded in 1914.
