Buehler’s Fresh Foods recently launched its Healthy Living program in Ashland, Ohio, focusing on providing more than 3,000 healthy items at affordable prices. As consumers continue to look for ways to eat healthier, Buehler’s is committed to providing a diverse selection of products throughout the entire store.
The program highlights items that fall into four main healthy living categories, including organic, gluten free, vegan and non-GMO. Additional items, such as sugar free, keto and low carb have been added to the program as well.
“We are excited to present our healthy living program at our Ashland store. Our goal is to provide a wide variety of items across all departments focusing on attributes like organic, gluten free, vegan, non-GMO and more,” said Daniel P. Shanahan, Healthy Living project coordinator. “Signage has been added throughout every aisle to identify Healthy Living items and highlight item attributes. We are happy to provide a large selection of items that are consistent with the evolving dietary needs of our customers.”
Buehler’s Ashland store is the fifth to be reconfigured with a focus on adding more products in the vegan, gluten free, non-GMO and organic categories. It joins Buehler’s Wooster Milltown, Wooster Towne Market (see story here), Medina River Styx and Medina Forest Meadows in the Healthy Living program. Buehler’s plans to expand this program to all 13 of its stores by 2021.
Buehler’s Fresh Foods is an employee-owned company (ESOP) and operates in Wooster, Orrville, Wadsworth, Medina, Ashland, New Philadelphia, Dover, Jackson Township (Canton), Coshocton, Portage Lakes (Green) and Massillon, Ohio.
