Atlanta, Georgia-based Rubbermaid Inc., the maker of food storage and organization products, is partnering with New York Times bestselling author, Katherine Schwarzenegger, to host ‘Brilliance Prep School’ – a virtual “few ingredients, many dishes” cooking class on Thursday, July 9.
Schwarzenegger will be joined by Jocelyn Delk Adams, the food blogger and award-winning cookbook author behind Grandbaby Cakes, to show how a handful of pantry and refrigerator staples can be transformed into a variety of dishes and stored for the week ahead using Rubbermaid Brilliance containers.
Throughout the cooking class, the two women will be demonstrating easy meal prep and handcrafted recipe ideas as well as storage tips for all of the newly minted at-home chefs.
“Like many people, over the last few months I’ve started to bake more and try some basic recipes,” Schwarzenegger said. “I have always been open and honest about not being super experienced in the kitchen and want to learn more, so being able to do that in quarantine has been a silver lining.”
Adams added, “Recipes don’t need to be difficult to be delicious…I think people are going to love what we come up with, and by properly storing food with Rubbermaid Brilliance containers, the airtight lids lock in flavor to keep food fresh throughout the week, making them the perfect complement to meal prep.”
‘Brilliance Prep School’ will be streamed via Instagram Live on Thursday, July 9 at 1 p.m. EST from Schwarzenegger’s page, which can be found with the handle @katherineschwarzenegger.
“Meal planning and experimentation in the kitchen is on the rise, and we hope this cooking class can be inspirational and teach that, when using the right tools, meal prep for the week can be easy and efficient,” said Ryan Hall, brand marketing director, food storage at Newell Brands.
