The Shelby Report of the Midwest is accepting nominations for its upcoming “Women of Influence in the Food Industry” program which recognizes female trendsetters.
The recognition program has been supported for more than 16 years in The Griffin Report of the Northeast. It is now being expanded across the country through the Midwest, Southeast, Southwest and West regions of The Shelby Report.
The deadline for nominations is Sept. 3. There is no cost to submit a nomination.
One person may nominate up to three women working in the food industry. To qualify, a woman must exhibit a high level of dedication and professionalism, be tenacious and have superior leadership skills. She should play a significant role in the success of the company she works for and make a difference in her community by giving of her time and talents to charitable or civic organizations.
The Shelby Report of the Midwest will feature each honoree in a special “Women of Influence in the Food Industry” section in its November issue.
The program is open to retailers, wholesalers and distributors, trade associations, suppliers, sales and marketing agencies and solutions providers.
All nominations must be submitted through an official online entry form, which may be found here.
