The new Grimes, Iowa Hy-Vee store, located at 351 N.E. Gateway Drive, will open on Sept. 14.
The Grimes Hy-Vee store is the company’s first entirely reimagined grocery store in its eight-state region. After years of anticipation and several months of construction, the Grimes Hy-Vee will open its doors to the public at 6 a.m. Tuesday Sept. 14, for its official grand opening.
The new 93,000-square-foot store will feature several departments never before seen in a Hy-Vee, as well as amenities that the company has become known for.
This location will have an accompanying Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh convenience store on the south end of the parking lot offering fresh on-the-go meal offerings, a Market Grille Express and select grocery staples including fresh produce and fresh bakery items.
The store will be open 6 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week and will carry about 100,000 items. The Fast & Fresh will be open 5 a.m.-11 p.m., seven days a week.
