Hy-Vee is set to open its new store in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on Sept. 28. This will be the company’s fourth store in the state and the first entirely reimagined grocery store outside of Iowa. After several months of construction, the Eau Claire Hy-Vee will open its doors to the public at 6 a.m. for its official grand opening.
The 92,000-square-foot store, located at 2424 E. Clairemont Ave., will feature several departments never before seen in a Hy-Vee, as well as amenities that the company has become known for.
This location has an accompanying Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh convenience store in the parking lot that opened in May. It offers fresh on-the-go meal offerings, a Market Grille Express and select grocery staples including fresh produce and fresh bakery items.
The store will be open 5 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week and will carry about 100,000 items. The Fast & Fresh is also open 5 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
