Springdale, Arkansas-based Tyson Foods will hold its upcoming annual meeting in a virtual format only via the internet, due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases associated with the Omicron variant of the virus.
There will not be a physical meeting location.
All shareholders of record at the close of business on Dec. 13, 2021, will be entitled to attend, submit questions and vote electronically at the virtual annual meeting by visiting virtualshareholdermeeting.com/TSN2022.
The annual meeting webcast will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Central time on Feb. 10. Online access to the virtual meeting website will begin at 9:45 a.m. Central time, and shareholders are encouraged to access the meeting prior to the start time.
Those without internet access will not be able to attend the annual meeting.
If shareholders do not vote by proxy via the internet, by telephone or by mail prior to the start of the annual meeting, they may vote via the virtual meeting website during the annual meeting by following the instructions provided during the webcast.
Whether you are a shareholder of record or a beneficial owner, to attend the annual meeting and to vote during the annual meeting you will need the 16-digit control number included in the notice of internet availability of proxy materials.
Tyson Foods’ shareholders will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance of the annual meeting at proxyvote.com and during the annual meeting at virtualshareholdermeeting.com/TSN2022, in each case using the 16-digit control number.
During the meeting, all questions should be submitted using the question feature of the virtual meeting page on the link listed above. All questions will be addressed in writing, if pertinent to meeting matters, as soon as practical after the annual meeting.
