The Food Industry Association has rescheduled its Midwinter Executive Conference, after taking a pause due to the heightened challenges associated with the COVID-19 Omicron variant. The event will take place in-person at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando, Florida, on March 28-31.
“While we paused our Midwinter event plans with purpose and patience, our members have urged us to hit ‘play’ for our first in-person gathering in more than two years. We look forward to hosting this forum for high-impact industry dialog at the conclusion of the first quarter 2022,” said FMI President and CEO Leslie G. Sarasin.
FMI will showcase several program announcements in the coming weeks, most notably Dana M. Peterson, chief economist and center leader of economy, strategy and finance at The Conference Board. Peterson will keynote and address the economic trends to watch.
Registration and housing information will be available at 6 a.m. EST on Jan. 21, via the Midwinter website.
As the food industry association, FMI works with and on behalf of the entire industry to advance a safer, healthier and more efficient consumer food supply chain.
