Schnucks Plans To Spring Forward With Longer Operating Hours

St. Louis, Missouri-based Schnucks and its stores will return to a 10 p.m. closing time beginning March 14. Included with this change, most Schnucks deli, meat and seafood department service counters will be open to serve customers from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. daily.

One-hundred and three Schnucks locations will begin operating with 6 a.m.-10 p.m. hours on March 14. Stores with alternate hours include City Plaza, Sierra Vista, Downtown, Eat Well, Jasper, Cahokia, Evansville North and Darmstadt.

Customers can verify store operating and service department hours on the Schnucks website and via the Schnucks Rewards mobile app.

“We know that as the days become longer and families begin to have more spring and summer activities, we’ll see the volume of shoppers return later in the evening,” said Ted Schnuck, EVP of supermarkets. “With the return to a 10 p.m. close, along with longer service department hours for deli, meat and seafood, we are ensuring that we meet our customers’ needs with more options to shop for the products they love.”

Easter Holiday

Schnucks also announced that all stores will be closed again on Easter Sunday, April 17, in order for employees to have time with their families and loved ones. Stores will reopen at their normally scheduled time on April 18.

Career Fair

From 1-5 p.m. on March 31, Schnucks will host a company-wide career fair at all stores as well as its bakery plant to hire for a variety of positions offering flexible schedules, career advancement, daily pay option, tuition reimbursement, health benefits and other perks. Most positions are part-time to start. No experience is necessary.
