Salem, Oregon-based Roth’s Fresh Markets has acquired the Vancouver, Washington retailer, Chuck’s Produce and Street Market.
Chuck’s Produce and Street Market operates two locations in Vancouver’s Mill Plain and Salmon Creek communities and has built its success on a commitment to providing fresh, local food with a focus on friendly neighborhood service.
Chuck’s Produce and Street Market will retain its current name and operate with the same employees.
In October 2021, Roth’s Fresh Markets was acquired by the Pattison Food Group, a Western Canada provider of food and drugs with almost 300 retail locations and more than 30,000 team members.
“This is an exciting time for our company,” said Tim Jennings, president of Roth’s Fresh Markets. “Joining the Pattison Food Group last October has given Roth’s the ability to grow and strengthen our business as we are doing today with the acquisition of Chuck’s Produce and Street Market.”
The acquisition is a natural fit for Roth’s and the Pattison Food Group, Jennings said. “At Roth’s, we share Chuck’s Produce and Street Market’s commitment to supporting local first and delivering the freshest local products to our customers. We’re an active part of every community we serve and just like Chuck’s, we have been recognized in our communities with numerous customer choice awards,” he said.
“We are extremely excited to have Chuck’s Produce and Street Market join the Roth’s and Pattison Food Group families,” said Darrell Jones, president at the Pattison Food Group. “Our businesses are leaders in customer service and adding Chuck’s Produce and Street Market further strengthens this commitment to our customers. We are just so happy to have this great group of people join our team.”
