Goode has been in the material handling industry for 25 years and has experience building and implementing service teams, deployment of equipment and project implementation and execution. He has served as an executive for global material handling integrators Vanderlande, Knapp and FKI, as well as the U.S. Postal Service.

Goode was responsible for budgets of hundreds of millions of dollars and leading hundreds of employees in these organizations. His experience in starting and building successful service organizations will allow for continued growth of the robots-as-a-service value proposition for Tompkins Robotics customers.

O’Farrell will be responsible for go-to-market strategies in retail micro fulfillment centers. Tompkins Robotics’ goals are to increase margins, quality and accuracy, while reducing labor, footprint and costs for customers. Previously, O’Farrell spent a decade with Dematic Corp. as global market development director, where he worked in grocery and wholesale B2B verticals to strengthen business development, solution, product and marketing strategies.

Tompkins Robotics is focused on the robotic automation of distribution and fulfillment operations. Its primary system, tSort, consists of autonomous mobile robots that sort a wide range of items and parcels to consolidation points for order fulfillment, store replenishment, returns, parcel distribution – any process in the supply chain. The systems maximize performance, making our clients more agile, adaptable, profitable and successful in a dynamic marketplace.

The company also has other proprietary solutions such as the xChange, tSort3D and xPress. xChange is a robotic sortation order removal and replacement system for orders and shipping systems. tSort3D is a new dense sortation system ideal for e-commerce and the company says it provides 10 times the sort destinations and volume compared to competing solutions. xPress is an overhead robotic transport system that can be used in retail to DC environments.
