Yerecic Label Opens New Facility In Phoenix, AZ

Yerecic Label has announced the opening of its new facility in Phoenix, Arizona. The facility is over 40,000 square feet with two printing presses currently running. The facility has room for three additional presses, with one of those presses already being prepared for installation.

“Adding a location in Phoenix is a strategic opportunity as a large number of our customers are located in the West,” said Art Yerecic, president of Yerecic Label. “It’s important to Yerecic Label to expand our ability to service customers at the speed of fresh.”

The facility is a one or two day ship point to most Arizona, California, Washington and Idaho facilities. In addition, the facility has racking to hold inventory for west coast customers.

“This is the most exciting development yet throughout my years with Yerecic Label,” said Tricia Brown, key account manager. “Having a Yerecic Label printing location essentially in my backyard is a real opportunity for west coast retailers and fresh food suppliers.”

The Phoenix facility will be staffed with a large number of long tenured team members. Having this many existing team members at the facility will allow Yerecic Label’s culture, procedures and service to integrate to the new location.

“The promotion of so many Pittsburgh-based team members to their new positions in the Phoenix facility created a wealth of opportunity for team members to move up quickly within the company,” said Brian Hurst, VP of production. “This is beneficial for both Yerecic Label and our customers as we are elevating strong and skilled team members.”

For more than 50 years, Yerecic Label has served the fresh food and retail industries with on-pack label solutions that connect with shoppers. Yerecic Label’s dual focus on consumer research and lean manufacturing creates high-impact labels to help entice, inform and inspire shoppers. Yerecic Label is a label manufacturer for the fresh industries located in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and Phoenix, Arizona, in facilities designed for cellular lean manufacturing.
