Crispy Green Releases Single-Serving Bags For Fruit Snack

Crispy Greens

Fairfield, New Jersey-based Crispy Green has released new single-serve packaging for its Crispy Fruit line, adding more fruit to each container and making the bags recyclable.

“Over the years, we’ve received many requests and comments from our customers that they love our product but wish there were a few more bites in each bag,” said Angela Liu, CEO and founder of Crispy Green. “This new single-serving bag is a true win-win for consumers and the environment.”

In addition to adding more fruit to each bag, Crispy Green has also reduced the company’s overall packaging for the Crispy Fruit line, providing greater sustainability as the four-pack outer bag is fully recyclable. Since the emphasis on sustainability continues to rise in importance, retailers provide even greater value to their customers by choosing brands that truly listen to and meet these consumer demands.

To ensure Crispy Fruit consumers would positively welcome these packaging changes, Crispy Green has conducted consumer research using a third-party research platform. Notably, nearly 75 percent of Crispy Fruit customers preferred moving from a six-pack to a four-pack.

The company believes that the single-serve packaging is ideal as a back-to-school snack for kids. The in store displays will include a QR code for consumers to enter the Crispy Green back-to-school contest to win prizes.

Crispy Green offers a variety of healthy portable snacks for people who live an active lifestyle and seek brands that align with their values. The company’s consumer education website, SmartLifebites, offers practical tips and information on healthy lifestyle topics, such as fitness, nutrition, family and travel, as well as providing solutions to minimize food waste and help fight hunger.

Founded in 2004, Crispy Green, Inc. is the No. 1 freeze-dried fruit snack in the U.S., according to the latest Nielsen research, ending April 2. The company’s Crispy Fruit line of 100 percent freeze-dried fruit is made from non-GMO fruits with no sugar added.
