Eatwell Market By Schnucks To Open March 29 In Missouri

Eatwell

A new Eatwell Market by Schnucks will open to customers at 8 a.m. on March 29 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. The 30,000-square-foot store, located at 220 THF Blvd. in Chesterfield, Missouri, will emphasize natural and organic foods, as well as other community events.

“We look forward to introducing St. Louis-area customers to our Eatwell Market, which will bring them a ‘beyond the expected’ shopping experience,” said Todd Schnuck, chairman and CEO.

“This store will allow us to build on our mission to ‘Nourish People’s Lives’ by offering shoppers a store where they can stay focused on health and wellness while also discovering new, local items.”

Eatwell Market will carry thousands of natural and organic items throughout the store. The produce department will focus on organically-grown offerings, as well as an array of conventionally-grown fruits and vegetables. The store’s meat department will specialize in products raised without added antibiotics or growth hormones.

The store will also emphasize made-to-order options, including fresh pastas, pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Other offerings will include store-cut artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, an olive bar and an AI-powered Picadeli “smart salad bar.”

Additional amenities will include bulk foods such as nuts, seeds, dried fruit and grains, as well as freshly ground nut butters and a made-to-order drink area specializing in single-serve offerings of smoothies, coffee, tea, beer and wine.

Taking the helm at the new Eatwell Market will be Store Manager Taylor Clark, who is relocating from Schnucks Maplewood, Missouri. This location will serve as the company’s 115th location and the second store to operate under the Eatwell Market banner, joining the Columbia location, which opened in 2020.

The Shelby Report first reported on the store’s opening in November. To read the full story, click here.
