AppCard and ECRS have reached an agreement to complete an integration between the platforms.
The new AppCard and ECRS integration will allow grocers to superpower the unified transaction experience with advanced personalized marketing and digital coupons offerings from AppCard. The coming integration is expected to be available to select first mutual grocers towards the end of 2023.
“Retailers today are under increasing pressure to provide a personalized and seamless experience to their customers,” said Yair Goldfinger, CEO of AppCard. “By integrating with ECRS’ Catapult POS system, we can help retailers deliver on their promise by providing a more personalized shopping experience, which in turn drives customer loyalty and increases revenue.”
The enhanced integration offers improved efficiency to shoppers and grocers alike. It extends a shopper experience where shoppers can earn and redeem rewards from the basic points to the most complex promotions of weighted averaged discounts and continuity, clip and redeem AppCard-powered coupons at the point of sale.
In addition to being compatible with the ECRS point of sale solution, AppCard’s platform offers grocers of all sizes the ability to grow their business and communicate with their shoppers beyond the four walls of their store. The integration will enable retailers to connect AppCard’s marketing and loyalty solution with ECRS’ Catapult POS system.
“Catapult provides the unification of transactional logic across all consumer touch points,” said Pete Catoe, CEO of ECRS. “We welcome strong technology partners, like AppCard, that complement the Catapult ecosystem and provide a competitive advantage to our nationwide community of local and regional grocers.”
Both parties believe the mutual offering will benefit retailers and shoppers. Those interested in learning more about the integration can visit AppCard’s website or ECRS’ website.
