ShopRite Stores To Launch ‘Fresh To Table’ Concept

ShopRite

The ShopRite of Riverside at 1321 Riverside Pkwy in Belcamp, Maryland, and the ShopRite of Howard Park at 4601 Liberty Heights Ave. in Baltimore, have debuted “Fresh to Table,” a store-within-a-store where customers can find fresh foods, easy-to-prepare ingredients and meal solutions in a variety of grab-and-go formats.

“We are excited to introduce Fresh to Table at our Riverside and Howard Park locations,” said Marshall Klein, owner and operator of Klein’s Family Markets. “The combination of wholesome, seasonal fresh foods and state-of-the-art technology is designed to help our customers find a wide variety of balanced meals in a convenient format.”

The stores are the most recent to roll out “Fresh to Table.” Klein’s Family Markets also offers “Fresh to Table” at the following Maryland locations:

  • The ShopRite of Forest Hill – 2101 Rock Spring Road, Forest Hill;
  • The ShopRite of Aberdeen – 949 Beards Hill Road, Aberdeen;
  • The ShopRite of Festival – 5 Bel Air S Pkwy, Bel Air; and
  • The ShopRite of Jacksonville – 14330 Jarrettsville Pike, Maryland.

“Fresh to Table” reinvents traditional produce and fresh food departments, providing additional options for shoppers looking for a one-stop shop experience. Customers can choose from ready-to-cook items, ready-to-heat and serve items and ready-to-eat meals. The space also features new foods from its private label lines, including Bowl & Basket and Wholesome Pantry products.

Klein’s Family Markets brings Maryland-style seafood offerings and recipes, curated by chefs and registered dietitians, to its “Fresh To Table” departments. The supermarket’s branded line of Klein’s Signature items changes seasonally and customers can find crab cakes, crab dip, Old Bay chicken salad and other options year round. Additionally, shoppers can access “Fresh to Table” meals, snacks and produce through the store’s online grocery service.

“Fresh to Table” offers integrated technology, such as online ordering through its Order Express app, which allows customers to order ahead of time for pick-up or for delivery via DoorDash. Shoppers can also access “Fresh to Table” options on ShopRite’s online shopping service.

The ShopRite of Riverside and the ShopRite of Howard Park are operated by Klein’s Family Market, which joined the ShopRite banner in March 2009. The company operates nine ShopRite stores across Maryland.
