The first three of 18 Walmart Health centers the retail giant plans for Texas this year have opened in Pearland, Sugar Land and Tomball, complementing the previous four sites in the state.
“[The] grand opening of Walmart Health in Sugar Land, Texas, marks the 50th location in the United States, an important milestone in our effort to increase access to integrated care,” said David Carmouche, SVP of healthcare delivery at Walmart.
“We are excited to deepen Walmart Health’s presence in Texas [this month] in Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth. With the population of Texas continuing to grow, these Walmart Health centers will help address the demand for easy to access care for all seniors and their families.”

Additional Walmart Health centers in Texas will be opening throughout the summer and fall. The facilities are about 5,400 square feet, located next to Walmart Supercenters, and will feature a range of health services.
Services may vary by location, but can include same-day primary care, dental, behavioral health, labs, x-ray, community health and telehealth.

- 951 W Belt Line Road, Suite 100 in Desoto;
- 2900 Renaissance Square, Suite 100 in Fort Worth;
- 7451 McCart Ave., Suite 100 in Fort Worth;
- 5302 North Garland Ave., Suite 100 in Garland;
- 6001 North Central Expressway, Suite 100 in Plano;
- 6401 Northeast Loop 820, Suite 200 in North Richland Hills;
- 8401 Anderson Blvd., Suite 100 in Fort Worth;
- 200 Short Blvd., Suite 150 in Dallas;
- 4122 LBJ Freeway, Suite 130 in Dallas; and
- 202 U.S. Highway 80 East in Mesquite.
The Walmart Health centers will be open seven days a week, with weekend and evening hours, as well as telehealth options on Sundays.
