Macey’s Market Opens New Store In Sandy, UT

Macey's Market

Macey’s Market Little Cottonwood recently opened as the third store of its kind at 1860 East 9400 South in Sandy, Utah. A grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration will occur in May.

Macey’s Market is a companion brand of the Macey’s grocery store. Designed for more centralized areas, Macey’s Market stores were created to best serve their specific communities. From hyper-localized products to larger selections of items the community loves, Macey’s Market focuses on providing the best groceries for the community. The store is also located next to the state’s newest liquor store, providing guests a one-stop shopping spot.

Macey’s Market Little Cottonwood was designed with the community in mind, characterized by well-lit spaces, a modern aesthetic and a contemporary layout accentuated by inviting colors, complemented by two murals depicting Little Cottonwood canyon created by a local artist.

The store, which opened April 15, features a full-menu sushi restaurant called White Pine Sushi, which includes restaurant-style traditional, specialty and tempura fried rolls named after local items. The menu also includes a variety of appetizers, bento boxes, bowls, desserts and boba. The store delicatessen offers made-in-store healthy sushi for those who want to enjoy it on the go. The department also includes additional gourmet meats and cheeses, salads and sandwiches.

The fresh produce section has an extensive selection of fruits and vegetables, including fresh, locally sourced options and a variety of organic products. The bakery section has been expanded to offer a broader selection of freshly baked artisan bread, pastries and gourmet cookies. The store also includes a BreadBot, an automated solution allowing guests to order a fresh, hot loaf of bread any time the store is open.

The store also includes a comprehensive range of grocery items, including pantry staples, as well as an extended collection of local and specialty products, such as gluten-free, vegan and other options. The store also emphasizes organic and health-conscious items, making it easier for customers to embrace a healthier lifestyle.

The pharmacy offers a variety of services to support guests’ health needs, including clinical services, birth control, strep testing and treatment, cold sore treatment, flu shot and non-invasive women’s health solutions.
