Deb Wilcox has been named director of communications at Buehler’s Fresh Foods in Wooster, Ohio. Wilcox started in Buehler’s advertising department in March 1983 working on ad layout and has served as director of marketing since 1991. As director of communications, Wilcox will be responsible for community, government and consumer relations, décor and branding of Buehler’s stores, business-to-business programs and company history.
Wilcox will begin her transition to director of communications at the end of February.
“Deb is uniquely qualified for this position, given her many years of service to Buehler’s, her working knowledge of the company, its culture and familiarity with the Buehler family,” said Buehler’s President and COO Dan Shanahan.
Wilcox lives in Wooster with her husband, Gale. The couple has two adult children.
E&H Family group owns and operates 14 Buehler’s Fresh Foods Supermarkets in Wooster, Orrville, Wadsworth, Medina, Brunswick, Ashland, New Philadelphia, Dover, Jackson Township, Delaware, Coshocton, Portage Lakes (Green) and, coming this year, Massillon.
