California Grocers Association Launches New Website

Last updated on August 16th, 2012 at 12:04 pm

The California Grocers Association’s (CGA) new and improved website (www.cagrocers.com) is now as fresh as its members produce.

CGA’s redesigned website includes exciting new features including dynamic new graphics, new tools to help members more easily engage in grass-roots advocacy, online membership updating, convenient event registration and an improved “members only” section.

“Our goal was to provide a user-friendly website that was easy to navigate,” said CGA President Ron Fong. “I think our new site accomplishes that. CGA wishes to thank Kellogg’s for sponsoring the launching of our new website. Their generous support helped to make this redesign a reality.”

New features include:

• Timely Bill Tracking: government relations are at the heart of CGA. To more effectively communicate timely information on current bills in the California Legislature, the new website will post weekly, up-to-date information on legislation impacting the grocery industry.

• Easily Contact Elected Officials: CGA has launched “CGA FoodAction,” a new member advocacy platform that allows members to quickly and directly communicate with elected officials.

• Update Membership Records Online: now updating membership records is just a click away. The new website allows members to securely update their personal membership file.

• Read California Grocer Online: CGA’s award-winning magazine—California Grocer—has gone virtual. Now am entire office can access the magazine and read timely articles on the critical issues facing the grocery industry. California Grocer VE is the quickest and easiest way to stay abreast of the issues.
