Sabzee Mediterranean Market celebrated a grand opening today in Encino, Calif. The Middle Eastern grocery and supermarket takes its name from the Farsi word for greens and is located on Ventura Boulevard between White Oak and Balboa boulevards.
The store offers healthy selections as well as a variety of kosher and halal meats and groceries. Sabzee also offers traditional American and European style holiday fare. Additionally, the store’s deli offers some of the finest delicacies from the Middle East and Mediterranean region as well as traditional American style snacks and meal items, according to a news release.
The market also includes a full range of desserts from around the world—from baklava and croissants to birthday cake and pumpkin pie.
Great place! Has large variety of products in very good prices! The highlight of the market is definitelly the bakery which is always fresh and has an amazing frozen coffee which they call FROFFEE!
