505 Southwestern will sell its line of All Natural 505 Southwestern sauces and salsas in 62 H-E-B Markets across Texas. 505 Southwestern sauces and salsas are available in mild, medium and hot flavor profiles, are all natural and gluten free and made with 100 percent green and red chile peppers grown in the Hatch Valley of New Mexico, also known as the “Chile Capital of the World.” 505 Southwestern products are packed in glass jars and come in five varieties, including Flame Roasted Green Chile, Green Chile Sauce, Enchilada & Tamale Sauce and an assortment of salsas.
“We have seen an overwhelming positive response from both retailers and consumers to the quality and superior taste of our sauces and salsas. • 505 Southwestern Roasted Green Chile (16 oz., Medium): Roasted Green Chiles are picked, roasted and then flash-frozen right after harvest; uses roasted green chile, garlic salt and lime juice as a preservative; commonly used as a condiment with tacos, enchiladas, burritos, salads, tuna, eggs, burgers and hotdogs.
• 505 Southwestern Green Chile Sauce (16 oz., Medium and Hot): Each kettle produced includes green chiles, tomatoes, onions, rice flour (as a gluten-free binder), lime juice, garlic powder and salt; used to sauté any protein for use in burritos, tacos or quesadillas.
• 505 Southwestern Enchilada Sauce (16 oz. Red Chile Sauce): Starts with Hatch Valley red chile pods that deliver an intense rich flavor; water, rice flour, lime juice, garlic cloves, oregano leaves and salt is then added; excellent for cooking with Mexican recipes, including enchiladas and tamales, or can be used to baste a chicken or steak.
• 505 Southwestern Honey Chipotle Green Chile Salsa (16 oz., Medium): Excludes onions and includes green chile, tomatoes, water, honey, chipotle flakes, garlic powder, jalapeno, salt and lime juice; ingredients are combined with sweet honey and smoky chipotle; can be used with chips, cottage cheese, seafood, baked potatoes and more.
