Sunflower Farmers Market Opens First California Store

Sunflower Farmers Market, the full-service natural and organic grocer famous for “serious food at silly prices,” opened its first store in the California market on May 11 at 424 Roseville Sq.

Shelby Publishing of the West Grocery NewsSunflower Farmers Market currently has 33 stores throughout six Southwestern states, but this is Sunflower’s first foray into California. The new store will also give the local economy a boost by bringing at least 100 jobs to Roseville, reports News10.net out of Roseville.

“We’re incredibly excited about opening our first store in California,” said Sunflower CEO, Chris Sherrell to the website. “We look forward to bringing affordable, quality, healthy options—from local produce to our newly re-packaged private label line—to Roseville and the surrounding communities.”
