Starbucks Collection Benefits Create Jobs for USA Fund

Last updated on August 16th, 2012 at 10:16 am

Starbucks has introduced the Indivisible collection available at participating Starbucks stores in the U.S. and at www.StarbucksStore.com for a limited time, starting June 12. For each qualifying purchase from the Indivisible collection, a donation will be made to Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) for the Create Jobs for USA Fund.

The Starbucks Indivisible collection offers coffee and products that are made or roasted in the USA and support the Create Jobs for USA Fund.

Since the November 2011 launch, Create Jobs for USA has raised more than $11.5 million in donations, directly contributing to more than $80 million in lending to community businesses across the country.

All donations to the Create Jobs Fund are distributed to community development financial institutions (CDFIs) that make loans to community businesses dedicated to creating and retaining jobs in underserved neighborhoods. It is estimated that the Create Jobs for USA program has helped create and retain nearly 4,000 American jobs in the U.S. so far.

Items include Indivisible Blend Whole Bean and Brewed Coffee, Indivisible Blend Whole Bean Coffee, the Indivisible Ceramic Mug, Indivisible Acrylic Art Tumbler and the Indivisible Wristband.

For each purchase of a 1-lb. bag of Indivisible Blend coffee (retail $14.95), Starbucks will donate $5 to the Create Jobs for USA Fund. Indivisible Blend will be available as a brewed option at participating Starbucks stores in the U.S. through July 8. When customers purchase a freshly brewed cup at a Starbucks store, Starbucks will donate 5 cents to the Create Jobs for USA Fund.

The 12.-fl.-oz. Indivisible Ceramic Mug ($9.95) created for Starbucks by the American Mug & Stein factory in East Liverpool, Ohio. Raw materials for the mug come from Tennessee, Ohio, Florida and Georgia. With each purchase of an Indivisible Ceramic Mug, Starbucks will donate $2 to the Create Jobs for USA Fund. While supplies last.

The 16-fl.-oz. Indivisible Acrylic Art Tumbler ($11.95) is made from 35 percent recycled material and made in Chicago. For each purchase of an Indivisible Acrylic Art Tumbler, Starbucks will donate $2 to the Create Jobs for USA Fund. While supplies last.

The Indivisible Wristband is a symbol of support available for a $5 donation to the Create Jobs for USA Fund at a Starbucks store or createjobsforUSA.org. The wristbands are individually handmade in the U.S.A. and U.S. suppliers manufacture all component materials.

Select Starbucks stores also will feature the critically-acclaimed book We Can All Do Better ($24.99) By Bill Bradley, an 18-year New Jersey senator, financial and investment adviser, Olympic and NBA athlete, national radio host and bestselling author. This book is printed in the U.S. and for each book purchased at a Starbucks store, Perseus Book Group will donate $5 to the Create Jobs for USA Fund.

All items are available while supplies last.
