Johnsonville Sausage has launched its new Pork & Chicken Sausage—available in Traditional Brat and Mild Italian. These new sausage varieties have 50 percent less fat and are now available at select retailers nationwide.
“At Johnsonville, we know there is nothing like a summer cookout with family and friends,” says Amber Brandimarte, Johnsonville senior brand manager. “We also know many folks are looking for better-for-you options to enjoy on the grill. We’re so excited we finally have what people have been looking for—the amazing flavor of Johnsonville, with half the fat. There’s just nothing else like it.”
Managing weight and getting in shape for summer doesn’t have to mean sacrificing the flavor you love, adds dietitian Sarah-Jane Bedwell. She recommends keeping protein a staple at each meal, to help increase satisfaction and reduce the desire to snack.
