Belle Foods Rolls Out New Shelf Label System

Last updated on June 13th, 2024 at 12:00 pm

Belle Foods has implemented a new shelf labeling system, “Simply Healthy.”

Simply Healthy is a color-coded guide to note healthy attributes of a product. The labels will indicate up to four different healthy characteristics, such as gluten free, sugar free, heart healthy, all natural or low carbs on each product. Each attribute will be assigned a color that will allow customers to glance at a tag and immediately know if the product is a healthy choice.

Keeping with its theme of “Refreshingly Simple,” Belle Foods sees the importance of offering this important information to customers.

“We want to make healthy shopping easier for our customers,” said Bill White, president and CEO of Belle Foods. “Food allergens can be a scary thing to deal with as a parent and we felt it was our job to make buying these items as simple as possible. Customers will no longer have to spend valuable time reading the back of a label to determine if a product is safe for their family.”

Belle Foods introduced the new tags during the grand openings of its first two remodeled stores earlier this month. Over the next several months, Belle Foods will roll out the Simply Healthy tags to all 57 locations.
