Blackheath Beverage Group (BBG) has partnered with Atlantico Rum, the super-premium rum brand of multi-platinum recording artist Enrique Iglesias. Under the agreement, which is effective immediately, BBG will utilize its proprietary sales and marketing platform to support Atlantico’s accelerated growth strategy. Atlantico, a product of the Dominican Republic, has earned both critical and commercial success. The brand won multiple Best of Show awards at the 2012 Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America Convention and has posted triple digit year-over-year growth since 2011.
BBG will coordinate its on-the-ground sales and marketing efforts with the headline activities of the brand, including concert tours and promotional appearances by Iglesias.
Park Street Imports will continue as Atlantico’s exclusive importer in the United States.
