Rickland Orchards Brand, creator of the first to market Greek Yogurt Coated Granola Bar, is enhancing the Black Friday shopping experience for Toys”R”Us and Babies”R”Us consumers across the country on Thanksgiving evening, the company says.
Rickland Orchards’ Greek Yogurt Bars will be included in the toy retailers’ complimentary Great Big Goody Bag, which will be provided to the first 200 people in line at each store as they wait the doors to open at 8 p.m. These fiber-filled, protein-packed bars will give shoppers the energy necessary to endure the most intense and tireless shopping day of the year, according to a Rickland Orchards news release.
“We’re thrilled to provide loyal Toys”R”Us and Babies”R”Us consumers with a better-for-you snack as they take on a full day of shopping,” said Jason Cohen, CEO of Rickland Orchards.
Rickland Orchards will give away more than 165,000 free Greek Yogurt Bars nationwide on Black Friday. In addition to fueling customers standing in line, Rickland Orchards also will have placement at cash registers beginning in December. A variety of bar flavors will be available for purchase in more than 800 locations.
“The on-premise sampling at Toys”R”Us and Babies”R”Us stores nationwide is a continuation of Rickland Orchards dedication to embracing the season of giving,” the news release says. “To kick-off the holidays, Maria Menounos—star of “Extra” and face of the Rickland Orchards brand, recently hosted an event with Rickland Orchards to launch a holiday season filled with healthier snacking. In true holiday spirit, the event benefited the Shining Hope Charity and the Kibera School For Girls in Nairobi, Kenya. The evening resulted in a $20,000 donation to the Kibera School For Girls and 150,000 Rickland Orchards Greek Yogurt Bars for the children.
