NGA Expo Floor Sells Out For 2013

NGA Show

The National Grocers Association (NGA) Show Expo Floor has now completely sold out, earlier than ever in the history of the show, which will be held Feb. 10-13 at The Mirage in Las Vegas.

“The sold-out status of the NGA Expo Floor speaks to the value and tremendous opportunity the NGA Show and Expo Floor provide for both exhibitors and attendees,” says Peter J. Larkin, NGA president & CEO. “The quality and diversity of the exhibitors on the Expo Floor this year including the PMA Produce Pavilion and the co-location of North American Meat Association’s MEATXPO ‘13 add even more value for our attendees.”

As the only industry show designed to help independent grocers succeed, the NGA Show features a focused Expo Floor where business gets done, partnerships are formed and new opportunities are created.

More than 175 exhibitors have committed to NGA this year, with many upgrading to larger booth space than in previous years and upgrading from their original commitments.

NGA also reports that early registration numbers to date are up significantly vs. 2012, and credited that to the show’s educational content, as well as the draw of the Expo Floor, and the successful implementation of a new online registration system and fee schedule.

“We are on track to break last year’s attendance record, which is a sign of the strength of the independent retail and wholesale grocer and their focus on being on the forefront of the latest trends and technology in our industry as they continue to grow and expand their businesses,” Larkin says.

The 2013 NGA Show features highly-rated educational programming including the keynote and general sessions, Super Breakfast Sessions and six separate tracks of concurrent workshops. For the first time at the Show there will be a 5K Fun Run/Walk to benefit the Mary Macey Scholarship Fund.

The Expo Floor is sold out, but a number of opportunities to participate are still available.

Manufacturers, distributors and service providers looking to invest in the NGA Show should lock in their participation now to enjoy the full benefits of an industry event focused on the needs of the retail and wholesale grocers that serve the independent grocery sector, the organization says. A limited number of sponsorships are still available as well as a number of marketing and advertising opportunities.
