Bumble Bee Foods, a leading seafood brand, has partnered with Hispanic celebrity Chef Doreen Colondres at the 2013 Hispanicize Conference in Miami, Fla., that runs through April 13. Colondres will help Bumble Bee connect with the growing U.S. Hispanic market and extend Bumble Bee’s successful “BeeWell for Life” brand philosophy, a news release says.
Colondres will develop recipes infused with Latin flavors, fresh ingredients and featuring Bumble Bee’s latest products, in addition to being the brand’s only bilingual and bicultural ambassador.
“I am thrilled to partner with Bumble Bee to help educate the growing Hispanic community about the benefits of eating seafood as part of a healthy lifestyle combining a well-balanced diet with exercise,” said Colondres.
Among San Diego, Calif.-based Bumble Bee’s newest product offerings that Colondres will be supporting are three new varieties of Prime Fillet Gourmet Flavors, which combine albacore with chopped chipotles, sundried tomatoes or jalapenos and carefully paired seasonings.
