The Quaker Oats Co., a subsidiary of PepsiCo Inc., says it is introducing a range of innovative products for the New Year.
Three new oat-based innovations include Quaker Warm & Crunchy Granola, Quaker Instant Oatmeal Cups and Quaker Real Medleys Cereal.
• Quaker Warm & Crunchy Granola, a first-of-its-kind hot cereal that delivers both Quaker Oatmeal and the crunch of multigrain granola. Quaker Warm & Crunchy Granola comes in three varieties, including Apple Cinnamon, Honey Almond and Cranberry Almond, all of which are meant to be made with milk and offer at least as much fiber and whole grains as a serving of Original Quaker Instant Oatmeal.
• Quaker Instant Oatmeal Cups in Apple & Cranberries and Honey & Almonds contains 190 calories and 7g of protein. It’s oatmeal in a convenient cup and serves as a good source of fiber—5g—and is low in saturated fat (contains 2-4g total fat per serving).
• Quaker Real Medleys Cereal is ready to eat and contains multigrains, real fruit, nuts and crunchy granola clusters in two flavors: Cherry Pecan Almond and Peach Apple Walnut. Quaker Real Medleys Cereal is an extension of Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal + and Quaker Real Medleys Bars.

The new products will be available on shelves nationwide in 2014.
