Mrs. Green’s Natural Market is opening its first Virginia store today at 12995 Fair Lakes Shopping Center in Fairfax.
The new store boasts 100 percent organic produce, a fresh bakery and gourmet coffee bar, all-natural vitamins and supplements as well as prepared meals, among other features.
Mrs. Green’s says it is a neighborhood store, passionately committed to clean, natural foods as well as health and sustainability.
Mrs. Green’s, based in Irvington, N.Y., currently operates 18 stores (12 in New York; three in Connecticut; one in Calgary, Alberta, Canada; and one in Chicago). It plans to soon open a store in New Jersey and also is slated to open two more New York stores and another Connecticut store.
