Golbon, a national food service buying group based in Boise, Idaho, announced the addition of Arnold’s & Eddie’s Foods of Chicopee, Mass., known as Arnie’s Meats Inc., to its buying group.
Arnie’s Meats has grown dramatically since 1974. Four small trucks have increased to 10 large trucks making deliveries five days a week from Nyak, N.Y., to Brattleboro, Vt., and from Pittsfield to Worcester, Mass. The company also operates two retail locations in Chicopee and East Longmeadow, Mass.
The company also offers fresh and frozen beef, pork, poultry, lamb and veal, an extensive deli section, a full line of dairy products, frozen vegetables, frozen seafood, desserts, canned and bottled goods and other items. It also has one of the largest selections of BBQ sauces, hot sauces, marinades and dry rubs.
Among other products from Arnie’s Meats are bulk and pre-made hamburger patties, cut steaks, chops, ribs and chickens made to order six days a week.
