Publix Launches Spring Food Drive

Publix logo

Publix Super Markets is encouraging its customers to stop by their local Publix by April 19 to participate in the grocer’s Food For Sharing campaign. Publix has teamed up with local nonprofit agencies throughout the southeast to help feed those in need this spring and summer.

A Food For Sharing display will be located near the registers. Customers may select one of three recipes created to incorporate some of the most needed non-perishable items by partner food pantries. Recipes range from $4.73-$13.48. The amount for the recipe selected will be added to the customer’s bill at checkout. Customers who donate to the program will receive a Food For Sharing reusable bag.
