Buehler’s Wooster Milltown Launches Promotions To Engage Customers During Remodel

In anticipation of Phase 3 of its remodel, Buehler’s Wooster Milltown is rolling out two promotions to allow customers to become part of the Ohio store’s history—with a permanent presence at the front entrance.

• Sign the Beam: Customers are invited to sign a structural steel I-beam that will be lifted and become part of the front entrance architecture. Signatures will be exposed for all to see. Customers can sign the beam from 2-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, or until the beam is filled with signatures.

• Handprints in History: 10 Buehler’s KidzPark children will be randomly selected to share their handprint impression as part of the stone foundation in the newly remodeled Milltown front entrance. Every time a child attends Milltown’s KidzPark, their name will be automatically entered; a random drawing for 10 winners will be held Monday, July 7.

“These may be the most exciting promotions we’ve done in years, as our customers will be part of the remodeling process,” said Jack Kerby, store manager of Buehler’s Wooster Milltown. “They will be able to brag a little when they see their name and/or handprint every time they shop for years to come.”

Phases 1 and 2 of the remodeling project are near completion, with expanded meat, seafood and dairy departments for greater variety, ease of shopping and energy-efficient cooling units. Rearrangement of the UPS Store, American Greetings Card Shop and floral department welcome customers to exposed floral cases and the store’s main arteries. Ritzman Pharmacy has a new home at the front of the store for easy access, and it now offers customers a drive-thru feature. Health and wellness products have been relocated near the pharmacy to complete the department. Finishing touches to the service center and front-end will round out the the first two phases, with details on Phase 3 coming soon.

Buehler’s operates 14 Buehler’s Fresh Foods supermarkets in Ohio.
