Sprouts Farmers Market has named Nancy LaMons its chief human resources officer. LaMons will be responsible for leading the Phoenix, Ariz.-based grocer’s human resources and organizational development efforts.
LaMons brings to Sprouts a strong background in the retail, consumer packaged goods and restaurant sectors, most recently as chief people officer at the Fiesta Restaurant Group. Previously, LaMons held senior positions at JC Penney and PepsiCo. LaMons holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, an MBA with an emphasis on human resources, labor and industrial relations and an Ed.M. with an emphasis in organization and leadership development.

Sprouts Farmers Market employs more than 15,000 people and currently operates more than 170 stores in nine states.
