Grand opening celebrations for Ohio’s first Fresh Thyme Farmers Market will be held in the Dublin community Wednesday, Aug. 13. The store is located at 6670 Sawmill Rd. in Columbus.
“Fresh Thyme is honored to be welcomed by the community in Dublin,” CEO Chris Sherrell said. “This grand opening celebration is one way for Fresh Thyme to introduce ourselves to our new neighbors by providing a fun, family outing.”
The grand opening celebration will start at 6:45 a.m. with the Dublin Chamber of Commerce on hand for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The store will open at 7 a.m.
“Fresh Thyme offers a bountiful produce department, with many items locally grown,” Sherrell said. “Providing the Dublin community an exciting place to shop local and live healthy is our goal.”
Fresh Thyme has already hired many local community residents for managerial and hourly positions. The Illinois-based grocer says there are still several full- and part-time employment opportunities available at the Dublin Fresh Thyme store.
