Jimmy Dean, a brand that began as a breakfast sausage and evolved into the frozen protein breakfast category, is expanding beyond breakfast with the introduction of a full line of lunch and dinner offerings.
It is the largest product launch in the Jimmy Dean brand’s history, featuring 16 varieties of sandwiches and bowls. Eight of the new Delights by Jimmy Dean items contain 300 calories or less.
The new Jimmy Dean offerings, like pulled pork, smoked bacon mac and cheese and smoked ham on a pretzel bun, are designed to be convenient lunch and dinner options and good sources of protein.
The new Jimmy Dean Hearty Sandwiches and Bowls varieties include: Pulled Pork Sandwich, Hickory Smoked Turkey Breast Sandwich, Smoked Sausage Sandwich, Beef Sandwich, Grilled Steak Bowl, Smoked Bacon Mac & Cheese Bowl, Pulled Pork Bowl and Golden Roasted Chicken Bowl.
New Delights by Jimmy Dean Sandwiches and Bowls varieties include Smoked Ham Sandwich, Pulled Chicken Sandwich, Hickory Smoked Turkey Breast Sandwich, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Golden Roasted Turkey Bowl, Three Cheese Pasta Bowl, Hickory Smoked Ham Bowl and Southwest Style Grilled Chicken Bowl.

The new products heat in the microwave in minutes. The sandwich offerings utilize a patented Heat Fresh microwavable pouch, winner of the 2014 DuPont Award for innovation, that makes it possible to heat the frozen sandwich in a single step inside the package without making the bun soggy.
