Jell-O Kicks Off College Football Season With New University Mold Kits

Just in time for football season, Jell-O is launching 16 new Jell-O University Mold Kits that celebrate college teams around the country. Available this month, each kit contains two trays of school logo or mascot molds, along with boxes of Jell-O gelatin in team colors.

Kraft Foods Group Inc The Ohio State University Jell-OBuilding on the popularity of its 2013 launch featuring four schools—University of Arkansas, University of Florida, University of Michigan and The University of Texas—Jell-O is collaborating with 16 new schools for the 2014 lineup: University of Alabama, University of California-Los Angeles, University of Southern California, University of Georgia, Florida State University, University of Iowa, Louisiana State University, Michigan State University, University of Missouri, University of North Carolina, University of Oklahoma, The Ohio State University, University of Oregon, University of Tennessee, Texas A&M University and the University of Wisconsin.

“We are excited to ‘fun up’ tailgates and viewing parties with our expanded line of University Mold Kits,” said Hermes Risien, Jell-O brand assistant at Kraft Foods. “College football fans will score a touchdown at their tailgates with these delicious Jell-O treats.”

Jell-O University Mold Kits will be available at grocery stores, mass merchandisers and Amazon.com for a suggested retail price of $5.99.
