NatureSweet Tomatoes Sponsoring Santa Selfie Hashtag Contest

NatureSweet Tomatoes wants to spread holiday cheer by giving customers a chance to win some extra spending money.  Today through Dec. 5 customers are encouraged to find the NatureSweet Tomatoes displays that feature Santa Timmy in retail and grocery stores. Snap a selfie with the little tomato in a Santa hat, then upload and share it on social media for the chance to win a $3,000 holiday shopping spree.

In order to qualify for prizes, entrants must take a selfie with Santa Timmy, upload the photo to naturesweet.com/mysantaselfie and share it on social media with the #MySantaSelfie hashtag. Along with the photo and hashtag, entrants must also explain how they are giving back this holiday season.

“Giving back is particularly important during the holiday season,” says Michael Joergensen, VP of marketing for San Antonio-based NatureSweet. “At NatureSweet, we are committed to having a positive social, environmental and economic impact on the communities in which we operate. That’s why we are particularly interested in hearing all the wonderful ways our NatureSweet fans are invested in their own communities.”

Entries with the most audience support (views, “likes” and attention on the internet) for their story and photo will win daily prizes, which include $25 gift cards. At the end of the contest, an entrant will be selected for the grand prize, which is the $3,000 shopping spree. Entrants may share one unique entry per day. The more they share their entry across social networks, the more chances to win.
