Reasor’s Opening Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Store Today

Celebrations for the grand opening of the Reasor’s store at 71st and Lynn Lane in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, will begin today. The chamber of commerce will join Reasor’s store personnel and management to take part in a ribbon cutting ceremony.

“The Broken Arrow Lynn Lane Reasor’s has been a staple for the Broken Arrow community and Reasor’s for 20 years now,” said Jeff Reasor, chairman and CEO. “This community has flourished and grown tremendously in that time and we are happy to have been a part of it.  The new look, feel and amenities of the store were ultimately designed with our customers in mind. This is evident when you first pull on the parking lot and see the comfortable rustic feel of the store front, complete with rotundas for relaxing and outside dining.

“When customers first walk into our new store and see the beautiful new and open layout, they are sure to be wowed,” Reasor said. “Upon arrival in the produce department, they are welcomed by a spacious, modern farmers market feel. Our bulk department has expanded and now has an entire wall dedicated to bulk foods”

The deli department has undergone a major facelift as well, with new walk around cases, a modern eating area, more ready-to-eat options, an expanded fresh salad and fruit bar and a cheese island staffed with cheese masters offering more than 300 specialty cheeses.

Changes to the Reasor’s meat department include a new dry-aged beef case and new cases displaying its selection of seafood and meat, including Certified Angus Beef.

The floral department is new and the bakery has a new artisan bread station. Shoppers can select a loaf of bread of their choice and have it sliced to their specifications at no extra charge. The bakery also now offers a larger variety of ice cream cakes and Reasor’s freshly-baked cakes decorated by the bakery staff.

The pharmacy underwent a complete transformation. Shoppers now can pick up their medications at the new pharmacy drive-thru, and the pharmacy is now open on Sundays as well.

“The Broken Arrow North Reasor’s has made a lot of changes recently,” said Store Director Tod Fricke. “We are excited to bring a fresh look and new features to our customers. It’s an exciting time to be a resident of the Broken Arrow community.”

Reasor’s was founded 51 years ago at a single location in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, by namesake Larry Reasor. Today, the company has 18 locations and two convenience stores throughout northeastern Oklahoma. In 2007, Reasor’s became employee-owned and now provides jobs for nearly 3,000 community members.
