The Eastern Produce Council will host the New York Produce Show and Conference next month in New York City. The New York Hilton at 1335 Avenue of the Americas-Manhattan will serve as the host hotel for the show that kicks off Tuesday, Dec. 2, with the Global Trade Symposium during the day followed by a welcome cocktail reception that evening.
On Wednesday, Dec. 3, the keynote breakfast and expo will be held at a new location, The Jacob Javits Center at 655 W. 34th Street, Manhattan. The breakfast will feature prominent thought leaders from Wakefern, Ahold, A&P, Acme, Fresh Direct, Allegiance and more. This year’s topic of discussion will be “Weathering the Market: Consumer Trends and Go-to-Market Strategies for Retail.” The expanded expo will follow beginning at 10 a.m. The second annual Women’s Leadership Award will be presented at 4 p.m. in the North Hall.
On Thursday, Dec. 4, the Ideation Fresh Foodservice Forum will be held at the Hilton, and the NYC Produce Retail Tour will include Grand Central and Chelsea Markets, Whole Foods and Fairway stores; the Philadelphia Wholesale Terminal Market; Hunts Point Terminal Market; and stops at markets in New Jersey and New York City.
