Hickory Harvest Foods has rolled out a new organic snacks product line in response to the consumer trend for healthier snack options, the Akron, Ohio-based company says. The new line features 13 of the most requested organic snack products, available in tubs for the grocery and food distributor market.
“The popularity of organic nuts and snacks has been increasing over the past three years,” said Mike Swiatkowski, VP of sales at Hickory Harvest. “We now have the capability to roast organic cashews and almonds in organic sunflower oil to provide this certified organic product line.”
In its SQF level 2 certified facility, Hickory Harvest Foods packages its organic products in stackable deli tub containers that are nitrogen flushed to ensure a more than nine-month shelf life.
